Named in honor of Kamila Rosenbergerová (1976– ) and Tomáš Rezek (1974– ). Tomáš, a friend of the discoverer, has worked as a research assistant at the Ondřejov Observatory for two years. His exceptional skill with various operating systems have often amazed his colleagues. This minor planet is being named on the occasion of the marriage of Kamila and Tomáš on 1999 June 19.
