Boris Gaillard (1976– ) is an amateur astronomer and software engineer. He spent two successive and successful summers at the Caussols Schmidt, implementing a very efficient package inside PRISM for the automatic detection of minor planets, in recent years used by many members of the AUDE {see planet  (9117)} group.
