Arnstadt is a town in Thuringia {see planet (934)} with a 1300-year history. The young J. S. Bach {see planet (1814)} was an organist here during 1703–1707. The town is home to the priceless doll’s town “Mon plaisir”, the life-work of princess Auguste Dorothea von Schwarzburg-Arnstadt. (M 38199) _ _.
