Kabudari, or “big tree” in the Arawak indigenous language, is a native name from the municipality of Palavecino, in the Lara state of Venezuela. Sadly, the great forests in this area, so rich in wildlife, are gradually disappearing. The name was chosen by two young girls from a primary school in the area.
