Erik Syrstad (b. 1978) was the detector assembly contamination control lead for the OSIRIS-REx Asteroid Sample Return Mission OCAMS camera. As an instrument scientist at the Utah State University Space Dynamics Laboratory, he was the program manager for the FUV spectrograph camera on NASA's ICON mission.
