Charles Hardin Holley (Buddy Holly, 1936–1959), was a singer/songwriter from Lubbock, Texas, who was clearly the brightest star since Elvis when, at the age of 22, he was tragically killed in a plane crash. His life has been celebrated on film and in the long running musical Buddy. His songs remain as timeless as ever. (M 42675) _ _.
