Hiromi Hamanowa (b. 1953) is a Japanese amateur astronomer. He has constructed an observatory at Kooriyama, Fukushima prefecture, and also designed a 0.4-m reflector. His photometric observations of minor planets with long rotation periods have benefited astronomers worldwide.
