Joseph Newton Orr (1954-2013) was a longtime supporter of Lowell Observatory's research and preservation efforts. A dark sky advocate, he contributed generously to the restoration of Percival Lowell's historic 24-inch Clark refracting telescope, ensuring it will be enjoyed by generations to come.
