Slovak husband-and-wife doctors Mikuláš (1926-1996) and Viera (1926-1995) Toldy spent all their energy in the interest of humanity and medical science. He was head of the obstetrics clinic in Martin, and she was a pediatrician at the Comenius University hospital and later head physician at the Suckling Institute in Bratislava.
