Named in honor of Jose Adolfo Snajdauf de Campos, of the Valongo Observatory, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. A teacher of astronomy and a researcher on the photometry of minor planets, he participates in the first discoverer’s group for photometric observations at the European Southern Observatory.
