Named for one of the most beautiful and important neo-Renaissance buildings in Prague. Constructed between 1876 and 1884, Rudolfinum originally served as a concert hall and art gallery, and from 1918 to 1938 it was the seat of the Czech National Assembly. Now it is again a center of musical life as home to the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and the international music festival ‘Prague Spring’. (M 24410) _ _.
