Founded in 1984, the Fort Bend Astronomy Club has the mission to serve people in the Houston area who love astronomy. This service includes helping manage the George Observatory in Brazos Bend State Park, as well as volunteer activities associated with Astronomy Day, the Texas Star Party and Astronomy on Wheels.
