Named for a Japanese military commander and well-known poet in the late Heian era, Minomoto-no Yorimasa (1104–1180). He advised Prince Mochihitoou to fight the Heike. However, word of the plan leaked out, and Yorimasa took his own life. (M 31024) _ _.
