Segorbe, the principal town in the High Palancia region, goes back to the Bronze Age. It has remained inhabited without interruption since then. Segorbe stands out because of its important artistic and environmental patrimony. An Episcopal and ducal see, it is one of the most active cultural centers in the Valencian community.
