The village of Srnín, founded by Zlatá Koruna monastery, was first mentioned in 1400. Situated at the foot of the Kleť mountain, it is also known for its bakery. Srnín is the birthplace of Ondřej Hůapulka (1752-1806), a musician and collector of folk songs.
