Cavaillon is a small city on the road from Avignon to Digne {see, respectively, planets  (9385) and  (10088)} in southern France well-known for the cultivation of fruits and vegetables. The delicious Cavaillon, or perfumed melon, was named after it. (M 47165) _ _.
