Gay Firestone Wray is an enthusiastic contributor to astronomy research through the Firestone postdoctoral fellowship at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory. A volunteer leader with many charitable organizations, she has contributed greatly to the Smithsonian's mandate for the “increase and diffusion of knowledge”.
