József Hajmási (1910-2010) was a Hungarian physicist, teacher and amateur astronomer who founded the Terkán Lajos Public Observatory at Székesfehérvár, Hungary. He showed the beauties of the starry night to many tens of thousands of people. The name was suggested by Z. Trupka.
