Niccolò Bucciantini (b. 1976) is an astronomer at the Arcetri Observatory in Florence. He was the third Italian to win the prestigious Hubble Fellowship. He is known for his work on relativistic magnetohydrodynamics, the Crab Nebula and is a proponent of the magnetar model for Gamma Ray Bursts.
