Nicholas Z. Scoville (b. 1945) is an astronomer at the California Institute of Technology. A pioneer in radio, submillimeter, and infrared observations of interstellar gas, he founded the Cosmic Evolution Survey (COSMOS), a large, multiwavelength survey of galaxies to determine their structure and evolution.
